Victoria Joy Avedesian grew up in Arcadia, CA and graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a B.A. in Criminology, Law and Society. Victoria Joy played NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer at UCI and won Big West Championship. As a Scholar Athlete, Victoria Joy was asked to join the Office of National Drug Control Policy at The White House during the Clinton Administration, in the Executive Office of the President where she testified in Congressional Hearings to strengthen the international anti-doping laws for the Olympics as the appointed representative of all NCAA Division I athletes. Today, we see stricter anti-doping laws in sport because of these efforts.
Victoria Joy built a business in the field of educational in Orange County, California before her business performance took her to Las Vegas, Nevada where she became a Sales Manager for Marriott International and quickly became the highest revenue generating leader. She was named Director of Training and Development before being recruited to join as a lead Registered Representative at Northwestern Mutual in the financial services industry in 2009. Victoria Joy has been a Qualified Member of the Million Dollar Round Table year after year, which is the Premier Association of the top 2% of Financial Professionals. Her performance has established new records for the agency. Victoria Joy’s success and expertise has evolved into speaking engagements in the finance industry.
Victoria Joy has served on the Boards of United Way of Southern Nevada, and Spread the Word Nevada. Victoria Joy has also participated on several Committees of United Way and continues her charitable commitments volunteering her time.
Victoria Joy joined Capstone Partners as Managing Director in Newport Beach in 2016. Her wife, Shilo, is Managing Partner of a California-based law firm and they have two kids, Ben and McKenna.
