Gifting Opportunities

How can you be a part of this exciting project? A donation of any amount will help us meet our goal of making the Newkirk Alumni Center a showcase facility for the campus and the community. Just click the “Make a Gift” button on the right. 

Contributions of $5,000 and larger will receive recognition on the donor wall.

Alumni Center Endowment
The endowment will provide operating funds for the center.
Gift amount:  $1,000,000 

Conference Room
Dividable into two smaller rooms, the conference room will be equipped with smart technology for sound and video projection.
Gift amount:  $800,000

The den will house university memorabilia and yearbooks, and serve as the “living room” for the center. This space will have a fireplace and a large screen television. Meetings, donor luncheons, viewing parties and receptions will be held here.
Gift amount:  $500,000

Executive Boardroom
This state-of-the-art facility will accommodate 30 people and will be wired for video, audio and WI-FI.
Gift amount:  $500,000

Outdoor patio
This outdoor space will accommodate 250 guests seated at round tables and will be located adjacent to the café and the conference room. It can be used for private events or as spill-over space for conferences and events.
Gift amount:  $500,000

Grand Foyer
The foyer will serve as the first point of entry. The center will have a concierge area as well as an interactive, digital information board.
Gift amount:  $350,000

Alumni Café
Located on the first floor, the café and will be accessible from the inside and outside.
Gift amount:  $250,000

Conference Room Foyer
Adjacent to the conference room, this space will serve as a pre-function event space and check-in area, and will feature natural light and views of the outdoor patio.
Gift amount:  $250,000

Roof Deck Balcony
Accessible from the board room and the mezzanine, this versatile space will overlook the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary.  It will be available for receptions as well as pre-event functions.
Gift amount:  $250,000

The second-floor mezzanine will be available as event space and will be adjacent to the board room, the roof deck balcony and the meeting room.

Assistant Vice Chancellor office
Private office and meeting space for the executive director of the UC Irvine Alumni office.
Gift amount:  $50,000

Alumni Association Meeting Room
Located on the second floor, this space will serve as the work and meeting area for the Student Alumni Association as well as UCIAA clubs and chapters.
Gift amount: $30,000

Alumni Offices
The second floor will include eight offices to house alumni staff.
Gift amount:  $10,000 each of eight offices.
