In partnership with the Student Alumni Association and UCI Alumni Association, Alumni Back 2 Campus gives students and recent alumni the opportunity hear from a panel of alumni professionals. This specific installment of Alumni Back 2 Campus will include experts in computer and gaming science. The mission of Alumni Back 2 Campus is to provide alumni with the opportunity to return to UCI to share their experiences, insights, and advice with current Anteater students.
The program will consist of a panel discussion with Q&A, followed by a brief networking session. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Registration: Registration is free for current students and $10 for alumni and guests.
Parking: Complimentary parking permits will be provided for registered alumni only.
Dress Code: Business casual is encouraged but not required.

Johnny Hou '06
Founder and CEO, NZXT Inc.
Johnny Hou is the founder and CEO of NZXT Inc., an LA based leading manufacturer of hardware and software for the PC gaming industry. As a PC gaming enthusiast, Hou established NZXT in 2004 with the mindset of making building PCs easy, fun and achievable for everyone. With a company comprising of primarily PC gaming enthusiasts, he strives to foster a culture of innovation that challenges the team to be better than who they are today. The company has seen aggressive growth year over year due to its sincere commitment to the PCDIY industry and community as a whole. He holds a Bachelors of Science in computer science & engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
Ciaran Foley '96
Co-Founder & CEO, Immersive Entertainment, Inc.
Ciaran Foley is the co-founder and CEO of Immersive Entertainment, Inc., a developer and publisher of virtual reality entertainment software, which creates next-generation experiences and games for the Oculus Rift and other head-mounted-displays that deliver new levels of presence, emotional engagement and realism. He has over 20 years of diverse executive-level startup and operational experience within a variety of entrepreneurial, high-technology and market-making businesses, including holding positions as Founder, CEO, COO and Board Member. He has been involved in over 8 startups, in business development, technical, fundraising, and has served as an advisor to numerous startups in his capacity as former Chair Emeritus of Tech Coast Venture Network.
Kathy Chiang '16
Arena Coordinator, UCI eSports
Kathy is a recent Computer Game Science graduate now helping run the UCI eSports program as the Arena Coordinator. As an undergraduate, she co-founded and led one of the largest gaming clubs in the world, The Association of Gamers at UCI. Her favorite games include Final Fantasy XIV, League of Legends and Path of Exile.
Aidan Moon '14
Shoutcaster, Riot Games
Aidan "Zirene" Moon is a professional esports commentator, or 'shoutcaster.' Aidan provides analytical commentary for Riot Games on the North American League Championship Series. Aidan was majoring in Cognitive Psychology at the University of California, Irvine when he began broadcasting in 2012. Since then he has commentated on over 10 amateur leagues, 7 seasons of semi-pro play (challenger), 4 years of collegiate play, 3 years of professional play, as well as worked on the Playtest Team as Lead Playtester for the champion Rek'Sai.
