Young Alumni Council MemberBryce Roberto

Public Affairs Coordinator, Municipal Water District of Orange County

UC Irvine – 2015,  B.A., social ecology

Born and raised in Southern California, Bryce spent much of his childhood exploring the great outdoors. In high school, his love of the outdoors drew him to an internship at a local water district, where he was first introduced to the water industry.

As a UC Irvine student, Bryce contemplated a variety of degrees before discovering Social Ecology. He interned at the Air Force Research Laboratory, analyzing energetic materials. Bryce also took on an internship at the Municipal Water District of Orange County, which provided a platform for him to expand and share his love of the water industry.

Outside of work, Bryce spends much of his time with his family, spending many weekends with his grandparents or young niece. He is an avid reader and lover of outdoor activities such as swimming and snowboarding. He likes to challenge himself, and has completed a half Ironman triathlon and hiked to the top of Mt. Whitney.

As a member of the Young Alumni Council, Bryce strives to inspire current and prior UCI students to become more involved with the university and the Alumni Association. Bryce is also a founding member of the Orange County Alumni Chapter and serves as Communications Chair."
