Miranda graduated from UC Irvine in 2011 with a major in Economics and a minor in Education, earning Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. She was also a member of UCI’s women’s tennis team where she helped lead the team to the school’s first Big West Conference title. She also received Big West Conference Honorable Mention Doubles Team, Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Academic All-American, and Big West Academic All-Conference distinctions.

Miranda additionally holds a master’s in management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Along with her identical twin sister, Hayley, she is the founder of Delta Squared Education, an education company in Newport Beach with a focus on college advising, academic tutoring, and consulting. Previously, she worked for UC Irvine's Paul Merage School of Business, where she played an instrumental role with the recruitment, launch, and management of three new master’s degrees, the Master of Finance (MFIN), Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), and Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MIE). She also worked at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business with their Master of Management programs.

Miranda was born and raised in Newport Beach, California. She is a U.S. Figure Skating gold medalist, a two-time marathon finisher, and also enjoys golf, yoga, running, and traveling.
